Hi JJ, Olives, Mrs Kells, Mrs Hall and Kowhai Class,
It was freezing cold like ice in the caves. It was 12 degrees. Is that how cold it is in NZ? It is hot as you are in an oven here.
We don't have many photos because you weren't allowed to take them in many places because it would scare the bugs living in the cave. There are all different kinds of insects and spiders. They were minature, so tiny they you couldn't see them. We saw a fish that looked very very old. It was called a human fish. The lights went out by mistake. It was very very freeky. It was really dark. We didn't see any bats because it wasn't that kind of cave. We went took a tour bus and it took us to our destination. We went to the caves and to a castle in the cliffs. We had to listen to the guide and do what the guide said.
